There are just times that the world looks better in black and white. If not in morality, than definitely on celluloid. This is the first part in what I imagine will be a lifelong journey exploring Germany with black and white film. The shots from this collection come from a bunch of different places: Berlin, Hamburg, Berchtesgaden and Dresden. With a few exceptions, all of these images were developed by me at home. A few with heavy contrast were some of the first rolls I developed on my own. With the exceptions of a few images shot on Delta 3200, all images are shot on Tri-X, which proved adept at capturing timeless images in Hamburg and dirty street shots in Dresden and Berlin.
